A Time to Rend, No One Said It Was Going to Be Easy
So if it wasn't for morgan reinventing the calendar Julia would have been happy staying woth Alonzo and almost adopting the baby time and again! LOL! I loved that blame it on Morgan angle. I can see how settling into their new lives can change the Edenites. Alonzo the wanderer can fly again and explore a new planet to his heart's content. I can see how Julia would feel when that happens. She reluctantly trusted him and entered into their relationship, so feeling a bit betrayed she decides to take the orphan baby and make a new life with Danziger. I know I would choose Danziger over the other guys any day!
NOSIWGTBE- Another enjoyable story with the minor characters! I'll bet they did a lot of things Devon and John never knew about to keep the group going. Too bad they weren't featured more in the show.

The Snippet Story and Inland Sea
I remember watching All About Eve and wondering if anyone else was going to die before they stopped the illness. I thought what a pity we never knew the name of Eben Singh until she died, and I really expected another of the minors to die and I thought it would beb Denner or Mazatl since neither of them ever had a speaking role. Interesting idea to have Eben Singh represent the mother to the group. Loved that it started out a ghost story and evolved into a life after death story for her. Good idea all around.
I saved the longest for last and I certainly hope you finish the story soon! I really liked the glimpse into Alonzo's past and Uly's dreams of Pegasus. i also like the way the story ties in with all of the others. And where did you get the neat name the Disputed Plateau?! I'm very sorry to be at the end of the story list. I liked all of them. Please write more.

Wow, Danziger Fan, you're making me want to go back and read all of the stories again! In fact, I think I'll start tomorrow. BTW, I have "I Quit" on hard copy, too, so I can read it over and over whenever I have the time.

I Quit and No Guarantees are my favorites.
I Quit because it's a beautiful long story and we get to see all the Edenites doing something just before they start getting sick. Considering Eben Sinh is the one who dies I thought it was really nice that she got to be one of the first to cross the river and see what was on the other side. It was nice to "meet" Denner and Maztl, too.
No Guarantees was a big surprise. Being a fan of Bess and Morgan I was going to read it through very fast, but the conversations between Bess and Danziger and the two of them facing the grendler and making a friend of it was just so funny. I had to go back and start all over again to pick up what I missed. I still don't think Bess would ever leave Morgan- she sees something very special in him that no one else can and that makes him dear to her, but I liked reading what might have been with Danziger.

Hey did anyone see the auction on Ebay this week where a complete set of fan made episodes on DVD went for 165 smackers? The starting price was 50 something and I bid until the price reached $100. That was too high for me even though I really would have liked to get them! I'm serious about wanting to see the show again to refresh my memory. I was 11 or 12 when it was on and I just remember the aliens scared me silly. I never watched it on SCiFi channel because I really didn't know it was airing. So anybody got copies I can beg, borrow or steal from you?

Are you kidding? Just for the series? All episodes in good quality, I hope! I'd love to get some DVDs or VCDs of the show, too, but I can't afford anything like that. Wow. Maybe the buyer will make copies available to friends and it will snowball from there, going from fan to fan. I know, wishful thinking, but my tapes are nearing their end. Sigh ...........

I just joined the list and I'm waiting for my password to be sent to me. The home page hasme listed as the newest member but I can't log in yet. I have to put a 2 after my handle in order to post. How long does it take? It certainly isn't fast. I bought the novels for Earth 2 on Ebay about a year ago but I never thought to see if they had DVDs or even VHS tapes of the show available. I guess they really do have everything on Ebay! Yes, over $100 is way to much for me to pay for episodes even though I need them, too. I try to take good care of my tapes but they won't last forever.

The same seller has another set available with only one bidder so far. Anyone feel lucky it won't go over a hundred this time? I'd like to bid but I'm waiting for the final day.

I came to leave a comment asking for a sequel to No Guarantees but I can see others have come before me to ask the same thing. I hope you are taking the requests seriously because it is a wonderful story. I read it twice when I found it! The reason for the Martin's breaking up was believeable and from there on the rest of the story benefited from knowing it was possible for the events to take place. The grendler part and the first kiss were well written and I think the story was well thought out. I especially liked the end when the kids discover John and Bess in the tent and True thinking it wouldn't be a secret for long. Kids are notorious for not being able to keep secrets! I'll bet everyone knew about John and Bess by the time night fell!

Well, join the club for people wanting a sequel to that story. I like the way that we see Bess' point of view through much of the story. She's genuinely worried about the fate of the colony on the clifftops, knowing what planetside weather can be like- which the others don't really understand yet. She feels a growing sense of alienation, I guess, from the others because of it, and she's smart enough to do something on her own just in case the worst should happen. She has the good of her friends in mind even if they don't realize it. Throwing Danziger into the mix was great! I love how they both understand they are going beyond friendship and they fight it as long as they can.

The DVDS for sale on ebay are too expensive for me. It's the pts being cash strapped when something like this comes up. DOES anyone have copies of DVDs or VCDs for sale or trade? I'd be intrested in a set, too.

If you can get a set together let me know, I want one! I'll even buy the materials and send them to you. My tapes are in bad shape. I really want a better set of episodes.

Hi! You have a very interesting collection of stories. What a wide range of subjects! I especially liked the ones with the background crew featured prominently. I wish more authors wrote with them in mind. I love Earth 2 stories dealing with the stars of the show, but I'm coming to appreciate the other members of the cast too. I'll always be a Devon/Danziger fan but with so few authors left out there who still write Earth 2 fanfic I'm starting to appreciate the work of those of you still writing for this show. Your explanations for the first names of the rest of the crew and their occupations was enlightening.

P.S: I hope you are planning to finish Inland Sea. Stopping it where it is would be very unfair! Will the kids find Pegasus? Will they make it to the comdish? What is the source of the strange signal?
